Reconnect,  Remember,
Embody.

Retreat time has been used for centuries to assist us in reconnecting to the grace and peace within. It is a noble and essential ritual for healing and self-clarification.

The busyness of our lives can keep us in a state of distraction and stress that can throw us off our intended course.

Here is a chance to rest and redirect ourselves to a more conscious connection to our true priorities and purpose.

Deep Rest &
Reflection Retreat

Limina Retreat Center
Searsport, Maine

You are worthy of rest.
You are worthy of beauty.
You are worthy of peace.

Our Deep Rest Retreat at Limina is an opportunity to prioritize your own rest, nourishment, and restoration of your body, mind, and soul.

During this rest retreat, you are invited to follow your own guidance and wisdom of how to best rest for your renewal. There will be daily offerings to support your surrender into deep, radiant rest that you can be nourished by and enjoy.

The Rhythm of our Deep Rest Retreat

Each day of the retreat will have a theme and utilize Yoga Nidra, the art of Deep Rest through guided meditation, also known as Non-Sleep Deep Rest. This is a lying down, restorative process that invites deep relaxation and the settling of your body and nervous system. Something magical happens when you remain consciously aware while your body becomes more and more relaxed and still. You will create your own cozy space with blankets and pillows, commonly referred to as your Yoga Nidra nest, for maximum comfort to enjoy during the practice.

Daily gentle movement sessions will be offered to enliven the body and relax the mind. We will also utilize heart-focused group inquiry/coaching sessions to support personal reflection and insight. When our bodies and nervous systems have the opportunity to settle down through conscious rest practices, we have an opportunity to see our lives more clearly. There will be a closing ritual offered to honor your commitment to rest and renewal.

This is a no rules retreat, everything is optional. Everything offered is designed to support and encourage your deep rest and sleep, while also including plenty of unstructured time for reflection, journaling, reading, and enjoying all the luscious offerings at Limina such as the sauna, biomat, fireplace, gorgeous nature, labyrinth (unless snow covered!), etc. Additionally, you can book a session from a healing arts practitioners (for an additional fee) to further nourish yourself during the retreat.

Imagine 4 nights and 3 whole days dedicated to a nurturing rest for your whole being. Imagine enjoying nourishing meals lovingly prepared – and cleaned up! –  for you.
